As a committed trustee and long-time supporter, Shri Vinod Agarwal, Managing Director of Agarwal Coal Corporation Pvt. Ltd., has played a pivotal role in strengthening the mission of Shri Annapurna Educational and Charitable Trust, Indore. Through consistent contributions and active involvement, Shri Agarwal and the Balaji Sewarth Vinod Agarwal Foundation have helped expand the reach and impact of the Trust’s educational initiatives for underprivileged children.

The Trust was founded in 1987 under the spiritual vision of Brahmalin 108 Swami Prabhanand Giriji Maharaj, who believed that quality education should be accessible to the most marginalized sections of society. With this purpose, he established the Shri Devi Annapurna Higher Secondary School within the temple premises — a school dedicated to serving children from low-income backgrounds at highly subsidized fees.

Currently, over 550 students from Grades 1 to 12 receive holistic education in two shifts, guided by Pujya Mahamandleshwar Swami Vishweshwaranand Giriji Maharaj. The school offers academic streams such as Commerce–Computer, Commerce–Mathematics, and Commerce–Economics, and features a dedicated computer lab, ensuring that each child gains access to modern learning tools and technology.

Over the years, the school has nurtured students who have gone on to become doctors, engineers, teachers, lawyers, and professionals in various fields — a testament to the transformative power of inclusive, value-driven education. Together, the Trust and its partners continue to uphold a shared vision: building a stronger nation, one empowered child at a time.
