The Madhav Srishti Chameli Devi Agarwal Medical Centre, located in the heart of Indore, was established with a singular purpose — to provide accessible, affordable, and dignified healthcare to every section of society. Built across a sprawling one lakh square feet campus, the multi-specialty Centre was born out of a deep understanding of a harsh reality: people from neighbouring villages and small towns often travel long distances to the city in search of basic medical care, only to find themselves overwhelmed, misinformed, and burdened by exorbitant expenses. In a country where over 55 million people fall below the poverty line annually due to unaffordable medical bills, the need for such a facility could not be more urgent.

Rather than functioning as a full-fledged hospital, the Medical Centre was thoughtfully designed to provide a wide spectrum of outpatient and ancillary medical services under one roof, making essential healthcare far more navigable and affordable. It currently offers an Outpatient Department (OPD) with two sitting general physicians and a visiting gynaecologist, providing quality consultations at highly subsidised rates. A fully equipped pathology lab and sample collection centre ensures accurate diagnostics for blood, urine, and other tests, while a radiology unit provides affordable access to ECG, X-ray, and ultrasound services. Patient well-being is further enhanced with services such as nutrition counselling and chronic disease management programs.

The Centre also houses a physiotherapy unit, a Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra offering medicines at nominal rates, and a free yoga training centre, where daily sessions from 6 AM to 7 AM promote preventive health and wellness. A key highlight is the Dialysis Centre, where life-saving dialysis procedures are conducted at just Rs. 500 per session, a fraction of the standard Rs. 2,500 charged elsewhere. Patients also have access to a 24-hour ambulance service, ensuring timely transportation during emergencies. Additionally, the Ayushman Bharat Consultation Centre helps beneficiaries navigate and avail government-sponsored healthcare schemes with ease.

Looking ahead, the Centre is actively working towards expanding its OPD into a full multi-specialty consultation hub, with plans to bring on board specialists across orthopaedics, psychiatry, endocrinology, cardiology, dermatology, paediatrics, gastroenterology, neurology, urology, nephrology, dentistry, and ophthalmology. To further support those coming from out of town, a 100-room residential facility is currently under development. This wing will provide clean, subsidised food and lodging for patients and their caregivers, drastically reducing the overall cost and stress of seeking treatment in a new city.
