7 MegaWatt total wind power capacity installed
WINDMILL FARMS
In alignment with the global shift towards sustainable energy, the Balaji Sewarth Vinod Agarwal Foundation has made significant strides in harnessing renewable energy through wind power. Recognising the urgent need to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and mitigate the adverse effects of climate change, the Foundation has established wind power generation plants across key Indian states—Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra.
Collectively generating 7 megawatts of clean energy, these wind farms represent the Foundation’s commitment to environmental stewardship and responsible development. By tapping into India’s abundant wind resources, the project contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and easing the pressure on non-renewable energy grids.
Strategically located in regions with high wind potential, the turbines operate year-round and channel power back into the regional electricity supply—supporting local infrastructure and promoting energy self-reliance. This initiative not only aligns with national renewable energy goals but also exemplifies how philanthropic organisations can lead by example in advancing green technology.
The windmill farms stand as a testament to the Foundation’s vision of progress that respects both people and the planet. Through this initiative, the Foundation furthers its objective of creating long-term, environmentally conscious impact across multiple sectors.
